University of New Brunswick
The University of New Brunswick is a public university with two primary campuses, located in Fredericton and Saint John. Founded by Loyalists fleeing the American Revolution, it is the oldest English-language university in Canada, and among the oldest public universities in North America.
The university offers more than 80 undergraduate and graduate programs. Fredericton, home to the original campus on a steep hill overlooking the Saint John River, offers programs including arts, business administration, computer science, education, engineering, kinesiology, nursing, science and law. The Saint John campus has a view of the Kennebecasis River and offers arts, business, science, engineering and a medical program.
The University of New Brunswick’s professors conduct research in diverse areas, including work on human sexuality and improving aquaculture. Its Planetary and Space Science Centre is home to Canada’s only NASA-designated Regional Planetary Image Facility, where the public can view mission documents and cartographical information.

The University of New Brunswick (UNB) has over 450 scholarships available to Canadian and international high school applicants who are beginning an undergraduate degree on either campus.Last year, 1 in 2 students entering UNB received a scholarship. Deadline to apply is March 1.
