University of Windsor
The University of Windsor has a reputation for being small and somewhat immature, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Windsor may not be a traditionally ‘fun’ school, but if you’re looking to earn an education, it is just as valid as any other university. In the near future, the university is going to be a popular destination for high-achieving students, due to developing programs such as Outstanding Scholars – a scholarship for top students that makes it financially easier to pursue a degree and enhances the overall university experience by pairing a student with a professor to work on a project in their field.

The university has a long history of excellence in Canadian education. With more than 150 accredited undergraduate, graduate and PhD programs, it can provide you with an exceptional Canadian degree that is right for you. A medium-sized university with 15,000 students, it provides a home away from home through international student support, career assistance, student clubs, athletics and extra-curricular activities.

Scholarships

International students are automatically considered for the University of Windsor Open Entrance Scholarship program provided they have come directly from secondary school studies, having completed a minimum of one term of full-time secondary school studies in the year immediately preceding the academic year that they are applying for.

While a student may receive an offer of admission, scholarship eligibility is based on final and interim Grade 12 results.  Once all final grades are received, scholarship eligibility will be reviewed should grades improve sufficiently enough to move into the next scholarship tier.
